Rare Breed is more than just a clothing brand; it’s a reflection of a journey marked by loss, resilience, and hope. The name has been in my family for years, a quiet reminder that we’re part of a rare kind of strength — the kind that carries you through the hardest battles.

A year ago, I lost my dad to an overdose — a pain that changed me forever. Almost 10 years ago, I was also in that same fight, battling a heroin addiction, and by the grace of God, support from my family and community, and hard work, I found my way to sobriety.

Clothing might seem like fabric and thread, but for me, it’s a statement — a way to wear my resilience, to spark conversations, and to remind others that recovery is possible.

When you wear Rare Breed, you’re not just buying clothes — you’re standing with every person fighting addiction, honoring those we’ve lost, and helping bring hope to families in our own community.

I believe in giving back to the community that helped save my life, and in honoring my dad’s memory by helping others still in the fight. That’s why 10% of every purchase will go directly to local programs and organizations that work every day to combat addiction, support recovery, and bring hope to families. The remaining profits are being set aside to bring another dream to life — opening a local tattoo shop that will not only be a creative space, but also a welcoming place for people in recovery and the community to connect.
